2 years on after Finasteride and need help

I think considering a biopsy is a good idea.

I’ll say I started and stopped finasteride and had terrible scalp sensations that made it so I couldn’t concentrate on anything. My work and life plummeted and I started to get really near clinical depression. Eventually I said screw it and restarted finasteride. Sensation continued for awhile but then eventually stopped and I havent had again for like 2 years. Not saying that’s what you should do just sharing my experience.

Hello @jazz1 Can you please let us know how many weeks took you taking finasteride to reduce the hair loss symptoms including the itching burning and oily scalp. What dosage did you take daily as well.

I am 2 week into Finasteride 0.25 mg daily but still no noticeable relief.
