2 months into minoxidil, no thinning

ive been using minoxidil for the first time for 2 months now and i dont think i have seen any thinning or lower hair count. I have heard that when you thin this is a good thing, a sign that the treatment is working and having an effect. Though my hair is short and it is hard to tell actually.

Is this bad ?

In my first two months of successful minoxidil use I shed quite a bit, but never experienced visible thinning.
