2 months into Avodart and shedding fiercely

I'm noticeably shedding like a banshee. Been on Avodart since this past August 1. I'm taking it MWF. Anyone have any insight as to going to taking it daily might do to the shedding? Increase or decrease the amount or duration of the shedding phase?
