2 Months In And If I Shed Anymore I’ll Have No Hair Left!

So on morr f (topical finasteride/min) for 2 months now, first month was fine. This month the shed hit. Must be shedding up to 100 hairs some days and my hair density in general is much thinner, thinner then it’s ever been all over.

Weirdly however it does seem some of the hairs at my temples are thickening.

Has anyone lost their density in a shed and have it come back over time? Is this that telogen evvisium whatever it’s called?

I am going to see London’s top hair specialist and paying an arm and a leg for it too. In two weeks to check everything also.

I will attach pics where you can see the loss in two months. First is before.

Wow your hair looks thick and good.

i'm not sure why you are paying an arm and a leg for a hair specialist when youre not even balding or have MBP.

I understand it looks like that, but it’s thinning all over, so much miniaturised hair that has turned thin and brittle and difficult to style and in general a big loss of density.

My shedding slowed then nearly stopped shortly after. I'm not positive but I think my hair is thickening.

Just be patient.

100 hairs some days ? that's not even a lot. if you have that amount of shedding, enjoy your hair for the next 10 years at least. if you start shedding 300 hairs a day start to worry

Well, I don’t know the exact number, what do I know is the shed has increased and the density decreased. So I am still worried, despite there being potential for it to be all worse.

Minoxidil makes you shed like crazy, I hate that stuff it does nothing.

There are other androgen inhibitors besides Finasteride. There is topical Finasteride. Herbal inhibitors. It’s only half of equation at best anyways.
