2 Month Update

I've have been on propecia 2 months and 1 week. At bout the 5 - 6 week I noticed there was alot of hair falling out. But at the moment I can say I'm not losing any hair when I wash hair. I've had no sides what so ever if anything an increased libido so that cant be a bad thing

Its a shed. Ive had two. Just ride it out.

You must expect to lose hair when first starting Propecia. It times TIME to reverse damage done to your hair by DHT. It can and probably will take 12 months before any results will be seen. If you cant commit to taking the drug for the full 12 months and riding out the sheds then you might aswell quit now and think about alternative treatments.

Okay, so this is just an issue of male pattern baldness continuing to progress at its natural rate since the finasteride hasn't had a tangible effect on the hair follicles yet. Meaning, the shedding is happening irrespective of the finasteride treatment, not finasteride itself inducing hairloss. There is no physiological reason that I know of for finasteride to make things worse.
