Hei there... im a danish guy, and totally newbie her!!

(So sorry about my bad english  )

Guess im a norwood 1.5 or some... Have lost hair in the temples the last 2 years after taking anabolic steroids.. it started and acellerated the lost... well its not so bad, and no one comments it.. but i just sont think i can make a cool haircut/frisure anymore because of my hairline..):
I'm not reallyy thining anywhere else.. even though i do think im loosing some hair when i take my hand trough the hair..

So its time to do something about it.. i have read a lot, and honestly i dont have the guts to jump on finasteride... Have already experienced gyno once in an age of 18 (which led to an operation), because og the steroids and im also very easy getting impotent.. (also experienced with small doses of A steroids...

So finasteride is not an option.. at least not until i've tried without..

So im on minox5% now (for week 2!)
Nizoral 2% every other day... Is this to much? if i use a conditioner?

And then i've just orderd some revivogen and will start as soon as it gets to my door.. (maybe not the best, but i have to find an alternative for finasteride)

+multivitamin and a shampoo called Biona Gibidyl Forte, with Ginko Biloba! propably scam, cause they say it can help against male pattern baldness.. probably not.. but the Ginkgo biloba should be ok?

So what do you guys say about this? is it ok to start with? or what would you think i should do??

I would be so glad for some help.. it's really bothering me...

thank you!

Try finasteride first.

Finasteride is not an anabolic/androgenic substance like those steroids you took. Finasteride does not interfere with the HPTA (hypothalamus-pituitary-testes axis) like steroids, which can cause a decrease in endogenous testosterone production, leading to testicular atrophy, gynecomastia from the extraneous testosterone converting to estradiol, and impotence.

Two very difference mechanisms for two very different purposes.

maybe not.. but i've had problems with gyno also before AAS, it was just not so bad.. and my right breast is stil a little 'gyno'ed..

and believe me.. my erection is STILL not great...

So nomatter what would i get impotent by the finasteride.. just the thought that it might could do it would be enough.. and i DONT need that in my age...
And my hairloss aint that bad...

So any other comments??

finasteride is NOT an option right now!

Skip the minoxidil for later. Just use finasteride and a decent shampoo that doesn't completely dry out your hair. I alternate between T/Gel and Nizoral. Sometimes I throw in Head & Shoulders if I'm feeling groovy.
