19, Am I Balding? Should I Start Taking Finasteride Or Dutasteride?

Hi guys I’ve noticed my hair getting thinner and thinner for about a month. I’ve always had a big forehead, but I feel like my temples and hairline are receeding. Also my hair on the crown of my head is very dry and thin almost crusty. I’ve always had long healthy hair, my big brother (25) has healthy thick hair and my father (56) has a perfect hairline, so do his 4 brothers (all older than him. My mom has good hair...but her brother (my uncle) is bald af...he told me he started to go bald in his 20s. I look exactly as my father did when he was my age, im literally his clone, and all my life I’ve had his same hair, but is there a chance I’m the only one that got my uncle’s hair gene? I posted some pictures down below to see if you guys think I am balding and what norwood do you guys think I am and if I should start taking finasteride or dutasteride, thanks.

I don't see much hairline receding m8. Ur hairline is almost perfectly straight. Norwood 1. Don't stress about it, take 6 months off and then post some photos again and we'll reasses for you. Cheers.

also the hair on my scalp is very thin and I’ve noticed quite some hairloss when i shower, and when it’s wet (i know you can always see your scalp when its wet) but I can see wayy more than before, looks like a wet rat with very thin hairs, also the hair on my crown has been falling slowly

Really? I don't see it. Seeing scalp through hair when wet is very normal. And seeing some hair in the shower is normal too. Hair shedding or falling out is not the reason men go bald. It's because hair grows back thinner and thinner in every hair cycle. I don't see any hairs that are thinning on ur hairline. U could always consult with a dermatologist to be sure, that way u can carry on with ur life in peace. Good luck.
