18 M Still Have Good Hair But My Hairline Is Starting To Recede, What Do You Think I Should Do?

Hi Im 18 and I still have pretty good hair but my hairline is starting to recede a bit, do you guys think I should start taking meds? My brother is 21 he has the same hair and hairline as me. I'll attach an image.

Buddy, that’s not starting to recede, that’s straight up recession. At your age that’s a lot further than it should be, certianly past mature hairline, and miniaturization is readily apparent. The hair that remains is still thick and looks good, but you need to decide how much your hair means to you. Right now, pushing it forward hides it, but that sh*t only lasts for a time. It looks aggressive - get yourself to a dermatologist soon as you can.

You can save it yes. Regrowth? Possible but not likely. And yes you are receding relatively hard for an 18 year old. It could now stay that way who knows but I wouldn't bet on that. What is your family history in terms of balding?

It's been like this for a year, it hasn't progressed and my brother has the same hairline as me he hasn't progressed, father had thick hair until 45. If I use finasteride and dermarolling, would it help in trying to regrow?

Does not look like a mature hairline mate, it looks like ur starting to go bald. Consider treatment.

Here's a better angle at my hairline, my temples have receeded, but I've heard that I could still regrow it if my hair in that area isn't completely bald but only miniaturized, is that correct?
