Alright, so im looking to get a hair transplant in December. Right now im on Finasteride (1.25mg EOD), and Theradome 3x a week. I shaved my head and hated it. The top of my scalp is sparse...



Im scared about finasteride affecting my physique goals, as im already pretty chubby and ive heard it loses efficacy after a few years... Im trying to with the help of a transplant keep my hair till atleast 35-40. Any thoughts or things i could add? Havent felt any sides from finasteride yet, except less semen, but im scared of gyno occuring in the long term. Anything i could do to prevent that?

If you don't feel gyno within the first months of finasteride I'd say your safe. Upon commencing propecia is when ur hormones take the biggest hit, this is when you're most likely to feel side effects. Although the likelihood of gyno is still possible during your treatment on finasteride, you would probably have to have a lifestyle change in order to manifest itself out of nowhere
