i went to my family doctor yesterday about it, he said my hair is not thinning or falling out and shows no signs of male pattern baldness, well thanks for all of your feedback guys
I think you are just rubbing it in! to make us baldies feel even worse.

Dude you ain't balding! dont listen to that bart simpson guy he is paranoid your hair is healthy thick and strong, I wouldnt call that a receding hairline you already said you only lose like 1 or 2 hairs in the shower so that means you are not balding.

This guy just wants you to get fukked up and you can actually lose hair with propecia and get sides...why risk that if your hair is good? you have a full head of hair a normal hairline and if you take propecia for years when you dont need it and then you stop you will start shedding.

Dont even try minoxidil that would make you lose even more hair.

The crown is normal! you have a swirl and the majority of people who have a swirl on the top you can see the scalp there I have 2 swirls but I am thinning on the top.

just use the basic stuff right now like Nizoral shampoo and nano shampoo you dont need that harsh stuff yet finasteride also makes your sperm count super low so if worse come to worse take finasteride when you actually start balding and shedding seriously.

it's really hard to tell if its receeding or just a mature hairline.

If you are confused, visit a derm and he/she should be able to give you a confirmed answer.

i dunno if this would have anyhting to with it but the widows peak runs on my dads side(who has the good hair), it also can be deceiving making it look worse, naturally my forehead is massive and have deep pockets. i have been to my doctor, he said im not balding, and that it was a mature hairline, but im going to another guy on the 2nd of november.

Re: 18 and some questions - UPDATE OCT 31ST

well after getting a 2nd opinion, i had to get my appointment pushed up because i lost hair in the crown due to folliculitis! anyways, she examed my hair, and checked for miniturize dhairs, she said, that my hair is very thick, although the temples are receded(not receding) is due to a mature hairline. then she asked me ?'s about my father and my mothers father and my uncles on both sides of the family, i didnt think my uncles or anyhting would have anyhting to do with it, she seemed to know what to look for, she said i have 0 signs of male pattern baldness, im so relieved, she also said that a widows peak is a sign of a strong hairline, i thought it was the opposite?, but anyways, 2 doctors have examine dmy hair and said i will not go bald till my 80's, thats IF i go bald. i am happy :)

i got the folliculitis from the barber, when they buzzed my head, they probably didnt clean the shaver properly, she prescribed me this stuff that you use on ringworm stuff and other various infections, it seems to be working because there is no itch anymore, i lost a small spot the size of a dime on my hair because i got these pimple like things (folliculitis)but filled with like pus, when it broke open, the hair went with it, it was very uncomfortable in the office, she was goin g through my hair and stuff, and she took hairs out to look at the root and some stuff, she said the widows peak is a strong hairline feature, i dont know, she seemed good, when she asked me about my uncles and father and grandfather and my maternal grandfather, she asked me which side of my family had the peak and which one didnt, but anyways, she just said my hair is very strong and thick, and with the majority of males in my family with full heads of hair even into late life, except my moms father, i will not loose my hair and she said theres no signs of any male pattern baldness, just a mature hairline. has anyone went to a derm herE? and what kind of questions did they ask you? i got asked bout males hair in my family, generation skipping, amount of hair in shower. i feel pretty assured when she looked at my hair under the microscope and said the root was normal looking. so 2 docs have said its jsut a matured hairline.

the one thing that made me think that she didnt know much was that she said that usually people who are blonde who have a european family history tend to loose hair, is that true? and if so, why? my brothers friend who has german family roots is 40 with blond ehair and he has no hairloss? does she mean like scandinavian roots, or what?

Well really really blonde hair is hard to tell if the person is balding or not...I know they have thinner hair this guy is 30 years old and is a blonde and white but when he dye he hair dark I could see his scalp and his hair was really thin.
