18 and some questions(new pics octorber 22nd)

ok, i am getting paranoid of balding, i dont really have any signs of balding, its just that my crown has a big cowlick, or thats what everyone tells me, and in my family, all the men have hair, my grandfather on my dads side didnt loose his hair till he was 85, my dad is 52 and has all of his hair with no signs of balding at all. except my moms dad experienced loss at 30, but every other male besides him on my mothers side doesnt go bald untill their 80's. i am really getting paranoid from really nothing i think, when i shower i get like 4 hairs on my hand after shampooing and i have always ahd a big forehead. i would like some feedback from my pics.. thank you very much.

my hair looked like your when i was 18, i really started noticing it thinning at about 22,didnt do anything about it when i really should have. your hair looks good and thick at the moment, but you do have the beginning's of a receeding hair line at the front possibly. I think if your worried about it try some finasteride/proscar. but every couple of days to maintain what you got. You crown looks pretty normal to me.

I dont think you got to much to worry about not like some of us older g1ts on this forum lol.

im not worried about the front because i personally dont think im losing hair there, i have had the same hairline since i was about 10 years old and it hasnt changed.

Yeah it looks normal and people arn't gonna say 'gosh you are balding man' so I wouldn't lose any sleep, just enjoy life!!

Never at any stage in my life did I have that much hair. How do these people get themselves onto a hairloss site? :shock:

man I wish I had that much hair! my cowlick area I have 2 swirls and you can see the scalp its thin on the top.

The problem with balding in the crown is its harder to get Hair follic transplants on the area and have it look normal and thick. But with a receding hairline the transplants mesh better and natural.

Anyway do you notice any hair falling out when you shampoo? if you dont have more then 20 hairs coming out when you shampoo dont bother posting on here lol.

Id say the temples are the ones thinning (the REAL temples, not the corners of the hairline so to speak). Keep an eye on em.

Its normal to be worried about hairloss even if its minor or not even balding. Some guys might not be losing hair, but better they be concerned and catch it early if it is male pattern baldness.

Looks okay to me if thats how it always was then just watch it and worry if it gets worse.

when you shampoo or comb your hair does hair come out on your hands? and if so how many? count them.

1 or 2? yes you are balding!

1 or 2 hairs? dude thats basically nothing! I lose on a good day 20 hairs! on a bad day 50.

This whole panicing over shed hairs by newbies really irritates me. :badmood:

The more hairs you have the more are going to be shed.
You can bet that some people with the best hair in the world lose alot when they comb/shampoo etc.
Take a look at a womans hairbrush/pillow/plughole you'll find more hair their than on your own I gaurantee you.

When you dont see any shed hairs because you are bald thats when you know you have a problem. :smack:

i went to my family doctor yesterday about it, he said my hair is not thinning or falling out and shows no signs of male pattern baldness, well thanks for all of your feedback guys
