17M is my crown thinning now? anxiety BACK :)))

I really tried to stop myself from posting this i really did since saturday and im rly sorry but its been in my mind every second. Is my crown thinning? The front part of the swirl sometimes looks thin under some lightings this inconsistency is really making me question.

1 month back i posted at a barber subreddit where like 12 different barbers told me i was not balding at the crown.

Now i cut my hair short for school and the anxiety is back.look at the compirson where im not holding my hair down. u can see through my scalp whys it like this? is it normal for everyone? hey man thanks for looking out for me but i u nderstand why hes mad a lot of ppl on this forum are balding bad and seeing people like me post here is annoying. i know i shouldnt post so often and im really trying to limit my number of posts but everytime when the anxiety kicks in its really hard thanks for being understanding though

Giving someone with BDD reassurance is not helping (despite good intentions).

The way I look at it, it’s more the anxiety that we as a community can help with through reassurance. I doubt we can do much for the BDD (assuming there is one).

I get that. But it is kind of like giving an alcoholic booze to help him with his withdrawal in this case.

No crown thinning. Thick healthy hair - you have light coloured scalp and very dark hair, you are just noticing the difference in contrast between the two. No sign of thinning at all.
