17 Years Old Life Is Over Due To Hair Loss.

I don't know why am i even going bald ! It drives me f*****g crazy. First i'll tell you about my family history..
My mom's side : All have a thick hair there's no visible recession my grand father had all of his hair until he died ( He died at 68 years old) That's my mother's side..
My father's side : My grandfather is bald yes and my father is bald, BUT MY FATHER WENT BALD WHEN HE WAS 35 YEARS OLD, SO DOES MY GRANDFATHER and also my father is mostly bald because of his mother's side not just his father's side.
Cousins on both sides of my family have no visible recession, there's even one of them whose mother's side uncle and grandfather are bald, but he's approaching 30's with no visible recession, SO WHY THE f*** AM I BALDING AT 17 YEARS OLD AND RAPIDLY WITH THIS FAMILY HISTORY. It started only last year, but it gets worse every weak ! I'm healthy and strong with no health issues or weaknesses, but it looks like i have a shitty luck, so i decided if life is going to continue cursing me with shitty luck, then i give up on life. I decided to be a hermit and live alone until i die and finally have a sense of peace. I have +15 unsolvable shitty issues already that cripples me, so i'm not ready to deal with hair loss at that young age and live under hats cause i look too ugly without hair. I don't want anything anymore i just want to spend my life in front of my PC and play games until i die. I'll ruin my health tho, so i can die very early. I only have a few months before my hair is completely gone because it recedes and thins rapidly like i went from full hair to this hair in a few months only! My hair is not just receding it's thinning also on the corners and the front, so there's no hope. It's only a matter of time until my scalp starts to thin! LIFE IS OVER.

It does look like your temples have receded. Trust me a lot of people losing hair have been in your position, and I am one of them. Don't let this bring you down your still very young and will have a lot of opportunities. Who knows maybe they find that cure of baldness that we all have been waiting for.
Have you tried talking to your parents about your concern of hair loss? Maybe they can take you to a hair specialist and he could look more into it.

1. go to a dermatologist and let him look at you with proper tools to asses (if you have not done so)
2. if he confirms you have androgenic alopecia get on big 3 and every so often check out research section because next few years advances in treating hair loss will be interesting.

I don't know maybe if you went bald through your teenage years you would understand how desperate i'am.

And btw most of those treatments are bullshit. They've been made to wipe out your money and left you with no hair or money anyways. Do you guys really think there will be a cure in a future ? THAT'S NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN. If they made a cure they would lose billions of dollars because no one would buy their shitty drugs or consider hair transplant anymore, so why would they release a cure ? If you think of it for 5 minutes you'll understand that humans can be greedy and selfish to a degree that they see millions of men and also women suffer around the world, but they don't care they would rather keep their wallets big more than to hand them a cure and that's how this world is shitty and cruel and selfish. But seeing how negative you are let me tell you the truth kid (since your only 17 years old). Your 17 what is it that you think that you know about life. Your crying over hair there are more bigger problems your gonna face when you grow up and your being a cry baby talking about sh*t on how bad your life is.

And other thousands of sites still exist and millions of men are complaining all day long and everyday on the internet? It's not tin foil hat or conspiracy theory IT'S THE TRUTH. And i respond to the other guy matt because he accused me of being a baby and a cry b**ch over hair loss when this forum is to support and help men with hair loss and maybe that shows how serious this problem is. There are men in their 30's and late 20's are extremely depressed over hair loss some men even committed suicide or considering it and he says that a 17 years old complains over hair loss that he got this early for no reason is a cry b**ch and a baby. Kid, i can speak for myself and say that Finasteride has halted my hairloss for two years already. I understand how it feels to be balding in your teenage years since i first noticed my hairloss at 16. (it wasn't nearly as severe as yours), and i can understand that you're pissed about the blind ones who can't see you receded into NW2 territory already and can't try finasteride because of the age.

My derm prescribed me a topical Finasteride + Minoxidil solution when i was 19 with a similar recession to yours, while she did not want to prescribe me oral finasteride because i wasn't 21 yet. Maybe it could help you, so go see a Derm and please try to not let it get to you too much. Stress related hairloss is a thing as well, and judging from your responses in this thread you seem to be under quite a lot of stress yourself. (And i can't blame you for that), so try to relax a little bit and hope for the best but brace for the worst.
