Hi so basically I have been in a bad panic lately because the hair just below the top of my head (below my part line) seems to have a worse quality than the rest of my head when I feel it. I don't know if this is even a real problem, to be honest. I am just wondering why this hair feels and looks a little thinner.

I am pretty terrified of the possibility of losing my hair, especially around my hairline because I already have a very large forehead that I was unfortunately born with.

P.S: I know for a fact that I have always had fine hair. It really has never been thick.

Do you mean your temple hair feels thinner when you're talking about the hair below your part line?

I think you look absolutely fine right now, though if you have a family history of baldness it's something to watch out for definitely. You're 17, go enjoy life

Yeah so basically my temples but I really can't tell if it has always been that way or not.

It's possible that you've always been a little thinner there, but I legitimately wouldn't know just by looking at it. The first step if you're worried about baldness is usually going to a dermatologist, but I still think you're okay right now. Your hairline looks great

I will probably just keep a bank of photos and see for myself if it changes at all before I take the extra step with the dermatologist. My brother also has a prestine hairline and he is almost 21 so I feel like I should be okay but who knows.
