Pics included below...
Yes I'm asian and have long hair, but that is only because i want to cover my fat forehead :(
My hairline has been receding slowly since highschool started. I noticed because my hairline used to be just above the birthmark on my right temple, now its like 1.5 inches from it.
My hair has also been thinning near my hairline and i get these random pimples on my hairline too. I'm 100% sure this is male pattern baldness because my dad is bald and my mom doesn't have a good hairline either. Crown is thinning a bit i think.
I'm perfectly happy with keeping what I have, what regimen do you guys suggest? propecia + minoxidil?
I'm turning 18 soon and i dont want to bald any further! i have a fat head so it looks terrible without hair
Im asian so i cant i can't grow any facial hair for sht (lol jokes) so i can't go with that look if my hair gets too thin
what do you guys think i should do?? i plan to start something when second semester starts (in jan 2013)
the thing I'm most worried about is my hairline :/

i highly recommend Propecia (finasteride) for u (with a doctor's prescription). not so sure about minoxidil - it gets caught in long hair and makes it feel bad. u could start Nizoral shampoo now - it can also help with male pattern baldness, it contains ketoconazole.

definitely start treatment asap (unless u r still developing down below) - it's rare to regrow a receded hair line.

keep us updated with how u go with hair loss treatment if u choose to take it- hopefully u r a good responder

Hummm hair loss? Where?

Go to a doctor and have them examine you for male pattern baldness.

I see recession but really pictures are not that helpful. See the derm or doctor (derm better) in real life they have much more experience with these things and can help you decide if you even have male pattern baldness.
