17 and receding

I'm 17 and I've been noticing my hairline receding for a few months now, and I've noticed my crown area starting to thin. I told me mum but at first she didn't really think anything of it, but over the last few weeks, I've been constantly worrying about it and she could see that. So she just asked me if I wanted to go back to the GP about it(I've been to see my GP ago it before but honestly he didn't really pay any attention to it and half arsed it), GPs are probably not the best people to visit about hair, but I live in a small island where there isn't any hair specialists, so they are the best I've got. So yeah , what are the chances that my doctor will prescribe me finasteride if I'm 17 and a half, should I bring up finasteride if my doctor doesn't even mention it? I was planning to quarter the pills so I would take .25mg per day.

if you can't get it through your GP go for a dermatologist or hair transplant specialist. 17 is young, but a couple guys here who are 17/18 are taking finasteride/dutasteride. If you still can't get it online would be the next option inhousepharmacy/alldaychemist. Good luck

Hey man i was in a similar position as you, been receeding since i was about 16,i decided to battle the baldness this year lol, hopped on finasteride just over 2 weeks ago,i was like you and had a very strong feeling my Doctor wouldnt prescribe finasteride so i end up getting it prescribed to me via an online doctor service that we have in my country,if where you live has something like that i would look into it or go try see a derm, best of luck man .

How old were you when you started finasteride. Did you experience any side effects?

Pharamacy2u, may be a higher price than AlldayChemist/InhousePharmacy but they are legit and UK verified, your also guaranteed to get your treatments.

Your hair loss looks exactly like mine.
Yet I'm not sure I think finasteride is the best option.
