I’m 16 and my hair is definitely not thick. I’m a vegetarian and I’m severely underweight (BMI 12.2). My hair is unmistakably thinned out (the crown area), and I really don’t want it to be due to male pattern baldness. The thing is, I only remembered my hair shedding rapidly when I was 14, but currently I don’t see as much hair loss now (three to four hairs when shampooing). I may be oblivious to the amount of hair I’m losing daily though. My baldness is definitely telltale signs of male pattern baldness (only the crown thinning) but I’m hoping that it is merely due to my diet since I can change it. Can hair loss temporarily slow down and will it come back? Can deficiencies affect just the crown area?
