difficult to tell,ya temples go slightly back but nothing to worry about

use nizoral 2% shampoo 3 times a week (leave it in for 5 minutes then rinse) until youre 18 then reassess :)

Usually because they're completely insecure themselves.

Hey thats the exact same comment I used to get in school. They were out by about 7 yrs though.
Some people are just c****.
You're hair is very similar to how mine was at around that age. If I was you I'd wait until you turn 18 then get on finesteride its your best hope.

in my family my dad has a similar hairline to me at 48 and he is just starting to lose his hair on the crown so you can see his scalp but my uncle is like a norwood 5 or 6 at 45. my grandad on my dads side has a norwood 1 at 72.

are there surgerys you can have to get a low/straight hairline, i feel as if i cant get anywhere without one and it really frustrates me, every boy in my year has a low hairline except me and i hate it, obviously i cant do anything now but is there likely to be treatments in the near future that can lower your hairline

i would say you probably are. not the end of the world tho, bruv. I would hesitate to recommend dht blockers because DHT still has a function up until the end of puberty. minoxidil and maybe some topical spironolactone would be fair game though.

i had a look at some family photo albums yesterday and my hairline receded a bit at age 11/12 to what it is now and it hasnt got worse since then, i dont know why it receded at such an early age.

it definitely hasnt got worse in the past few months anyway, i had a haircut today and it doesnt look different to what it looked like a few years ago

maybe my hairline matured at a very early age

i looked at some more photos of me at age 6 and ive come to the conclusion that im not balding and simply have a high and odd shaped hairline which ive always had my hair looks exactly the same as it did then, my hair is too thick to be balding, and ive noticed my dad has the same type of hairline. im still not happy with my high hairline but its not going anywhere.

The signs are there. Id get on propecia straight away if I were you...Because once that hair is gone its gone! No going back. If I had my time over I would of started propecia at 10 so I could maintain my juvenile hairline

What is with you metalheaddude??? Thats such bad advice. He is 16. He hasn't finished growing yet.

My advice, wait. Wait until your at least 18.

now im really not gloating at all,im just mentioning it cos its relevant.Since about 13 years old this one guy who became a good friend would always mention my hairline (even when it was just uneven and not receding)he would always point it out ,say the same sh*t you get like 'youll be bald by....' etc etc ..................its really true that the people who come out with these stupid comments are the ones who are insecure, this guy was outwardly a cocky, confident mother fu cker, well, now we're all in our late 20's and he has had a mental breakdown and is suffering from depression. Those who knew him well knew that he was never the person he made himself out to be,people are excellent and deflecting attention onto others when really it is them with the issues.

get on minoxidil and nizoral man, then when ya 18,propecia,you still got loads of hair and hopefully once ya start treatments youll be able to keep it.

as for surgery, well yes there is but NO WAY should you even contemplate it at your age,you need to wait a decade,AT LEAST :)

Where the hell is this world going to? "Without a low hairline I can't get anywhere". Wtf?
