16 year old with diffuse thinning PLEASE HELP

hi

It is march now and my story starts decemebr 2011. Before then i would never have thought of hair loss, in november at the hairdresser i was even getting my hair thinned out becasue it was bushy and curly.

In decemeber i cut my hair short. surprisingly i could see my scalp right through the middle in direct light!. It feels like it happened in over a month, it is march now and i cant really tell if it has gotten worse but i still obsess about it. I went to the docter and he gave me topical steriod diprosone" and told me to come back in 3 months to see any change.

I know that both my grandfathers where bald by 30 and my cousin started balding in his teens but he had a recession not thinning all over

Can someone please help me?? im really depressed

ps dont judge but i got a chemical perm in july 2011, no irritation or burns it looked awsome, dont know if this contributed..

ps i started lifting weights in october and taking whey protein but stopped now because of this

its hard to help and be accurate without pics. pics will help us, help you.
im presuming your looking for a diagnoses rather then a regimen?.
all i can say is that if you got lots of bald people in ya family and your noticing hairloss, then there is a good chance you have male pattern baldness aswell.

my thinning is diffuse all over the top but my family that did go bald receded and my father is 50 and his hair is thicker than mine!

and i dont notice any shedding! not even when shampooing

And sorry we have to ask for pics, but you'd be amazed the people we get on here who say they have hairloss yet have a perfect head of hair

doctor said it was from inflamation and gave me topcial steroid, inflamation went away and he said it should thicken up in 3 months, im not so sure so i got on nizoral

Heres the photos, the one with long hair was literally less than 30 days before i cut my hair and noticed it. I wouldnt have even contemplated balding then

It's not just there. It's in the whol Norwood area just worse there

Docto would thicken up in 3 months and if not I would go to the Derm for expensive treatment
