Hey everyone, I'll keep this breif. I'm a 16 year old and a few months ago I noticed my hair seemed a lot lighter(weight) than usual and a little thinner. As the summer passed it seemed to get worse and now it to the point that my hair is totally different, thin, and embarrassing. Because I'm so young I am very worried and confused on what to do and would love some help. (Pictures below) I think it's definitely worst at the crown but now it's just all over my head

Thanks for the reply, I have been using rogain for a few months now, I don't know if my dick is Done growing LMAO, I'm about 5'9, my voice is a little deep, I've had a wonderful girlfriend for almost a year now, and I'm on the crew team (rowing). If it helps I do pretty good in school and I'm taking a few AP this year.

I would honestly get started on finasteride because I know how important hair is to my looks and my life. Look into finasteride studies, about how it affects users, I never looked into that because I was 23 when in noticed.
I will just say this, and I want you and everyone here to know. Hair is super important to looks and will affect you life in very negative ways if you lose it (girls, friends, work, everything). I'm 29 and still very handsome because i'm fit, dress well, and have a NW0 hairline because of my strong regimen. I literally walk up to girls and start flirting and good reception. If I was bald/visibly balding that wouldn't happen. People at work always compliment me on how nice I look especially when I get new haircut, and they respect me. If I was bald I can still get respect but you would have to do it differently.
Hair is VERY important to your looks and your life. If you want those benefits get on finasteride after speaking with your doctor and personal research and f*** what anyone else says. DM me I'll buy your first script, seriously.
I agree, stick with rogain and avoid hormonal stuff, you are far to young for that. I know it is tough, im going through the sane stuff near the same age. Just see a hair derma and see what they recoment, but your devolopment very important and hormonal stuff can make a mess of it

Honestly, sorry about my initial irrelevant post.
What I would recommend is that you cut your hair shorter to reduce anxiety about the prospect of balding.Then, begin using a dermaroller on the scalp combined with 2% minoxidil. Once, results begin to become apparent, allow hair to grow longer , then begin washing in a volume boosting shampoo. The course of action is to hold your hair for 2yrs then begin usage of finasteride at 1mg.
There is no running from this dude; please consider wholeheartedly.

Hey buddy. First thing I would do is book an appointment with a dermatologist to assess if there’s any underlying causes like thyroid, iron, nutrition, or tellogen effluvium. If there’s no other causes, start using Nizoral 2% and minoxidil 5% with your hair cut to a 1 on the sides and like 3-4 on top. This has two benefits. Firstly, it’s easier for the minoxidil to penetrate the scalp, and secondly, it hides the thinning. Your hairline looks great so I’d recommend cutting your hair. When you’re 19, hop on finasteride. DO NOT USE FINASTERIDE UNTIL 18 AT LEAST.
