16 And Think I’m Diffuse Thinning. Any Hope For Me.?

I didn’t realize this till now. Always noticed my hair was thinner on top but it’s rlly starting seem like I have diffuse thinning. Is it possible to beat diffuse thinning.?


Here r some photos under light.
If i shine a really bright light or flash over my hair it looks a lot worse.
My hair feels so light and thin nowadays too.

Yes, but my derm told me before that my hair is thinning a bit on top too along w a bit along my hairline. This is called diffuse thinning right?

My dad’s receded to a norwood 3 or 3.5. He started in his 30s or so though (40 now and it seems to have stopped) & im only 16.

Does diffuse thinning lead to baldness?
I heard diffuse thinning happens fast & I can already see my hair is thinner than it used to b especially on the temporal areas.
My family has a history w hairloss (about 50/50), but the only person who’s bald is my mom’s dad who’s in his 70s now. Even my dad’s dad has a norwood 1 & his hair looks better than mine.

Diffuse thinning can happen fast or slow same goes for recession and crown thinning. I would get a second opinion from a dermatologist who specializes in hair loss,they will tell you for sure and have the correct equipment to check.
