16 And Have A Thin Crown Dont Know If I Am Balding Or Just Fine Hair

Hey guys im 16 years old and have a really thin crown i have good temples but my crown seems really fine am i facing male pattern baldness or is it just a cowlick?
My parents dont really care my hair and say that i should let it grow back naturally however i am really stressed over this. looking at the mirror almost everyday stressing over my thinning crown.
It would be great if anyone could confirm that i have a thinning crown or male pattern baldness so i could just be sure thank you very much.

Dermatologist can confirm male pattern baldness for sure rather than people on this forum. For me it looks like beginning of male pattern baldness. For some it starts from crown rather than temples, there are many patterns how people lose their hair.

You are too young to start finasteride, I would try minoxidil untill you reach the appropriate age for fina.
