16 and balding? [Pictures]

Okay,
I'm paranoid. My friend of mine recently told me that the top of my head near the back has thinned out hair and he can see my scalp. So, I go home and I checked it out and it looked seious enough for me to make this post. So, by looking at these pictures, am I really balding out? Sorry, if my grammar is wrong I'm 16 and neither my mother's nor my dad's side has any serious issue of balding. hell, my grandpa still has his hair. So, I know I'm doing something wrong.

Yeah, i would check hairline. I cannot tell much from those pictures. Also feel the hair. Pull on it and you should get a good idea of if its thinning or not. Or you could have some1 look at it.

From that obscure picture, I can't see any recession or thinning, just keep an eye on it every 6 months.

my hair loss started like yours

us guys who start out with crown thinning are diffuse thinners, we thin all over in the general area of your final pattern of male pattern baldness

so yea, the hairline won't be affected

small spot there, i didnt do anything tho cuz i always had a thinnish spot there, where all the hair came from

but yea, keep pics of it, every month or so, see if its expanding or thinning more. you could get the density checked at a dermatologist as well

Okay, hey there fellas, I have an update. It's been 7 months. Here are the new pictures, other than a really bad bout of acne



Keep in mind, this is in front of like really bright light [camera flash ] I turned 17 in january.
I don't know, but I can see my scalp really often nowadays. Also, I live in the UAE right now, could it be because of the weather?

Op you are fine. Its your crown. I got a slightly receeding hair line sort of like Bradley Cooper. After accutane, its thinned on the sides slightly. The back looked effected and I noticed hairloss which has slowed since I stopped accutane.

1. Don't worry. Watch it. Your likely fine but, anxiety and stress causes balding.

2. You are a man who can 1 buzz it, fade it, line it up or shave it.

Lastly, I saw nothing to fear.

Yea, my parents told me the same thing. I stress alot. School stuff especially. Also, I've noticed when I kind of rub my hair forward, hair strands fall off. And that's like 6-7 hair strands just fall off. I started freaking out more after that. it's never happened before.
