Hello.
I'm 15 years old, doing 16 in june, i have receded temples ever since i was a baby, my grandfather from my dads part had them too, my dad (50 years) has them and my older brother has them too, none of them got bald neither did their temples got bigger. My dads temples size is like mine. My brother has smaller ones because he has the tinniest head of my family and i have the biggest :v.
I went to an hair clinic and they said that it was just how i was made and that it wouldnt fall other then the normal, that the hairlines would go back a bit but just as everyones will. when i take a shower 2/3 hairs go on my hand, not more. I have strong hair. The doctors said i had enough hair on the back of my head to fill up all the top of my head and that it was A quality hair.
The idea was for me to supervise my temples for more then 1 year and then do the Transplant.
I'll be going to the hairclinic again to discuss with both my mother and doctor about the surgery.
I really don't mind if i have to do another surgery in about 5/6years, i preffer to enjoy youth, my family supports me on that. Can you give me opinions? Thanks in advanced.

Sorry bud, but absolutely no ethical surgeon would perform on you until a minimum of 21 years of age. Even then, most are adamant on being 25 before hand.

All though I ended up having mine at 23. One of the other guys who was with me got turned down (21)

Wait, so you're saying your hairline has always looked like that, and not actually receded into that form?

It sounds like your hair is maintaining that since birth, so you're asking for a new hairline. You want a hairline specialist to do this, if they will since you are still so young still. Your hairline does look like you are 30 so you might find one. You want to be very careful because a hairline is easy to screw up.
