Hey guys... heres an update .
I've been on Propecia for about 15 Months now. Over that time i feel Propecia maybe slowed down my hairloss at best but im still gradually thinning. I was just wondering what you think the next step is to add to my regimen?

I'm Currently just using Propecia but am going to go buy some more Nizoral soon. I dont want to get into Minoxidil just yet. So what do I add next to my Regimen? Im not really look for that much regrowth if any. My main goal is still just to keep what I have, maybe thicken it up a tiny bit. Just not sure what to add.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Funny username.

From everything I have read here I would have to say that you should get Nizoral and Minoxodil. Some people also like products containing copper peptides.

We are all individuals though as I have noticed a lot of vellus(little blonde) hair regrowth on my temple areas and even an early terminal hair or two further back. I have only been taking generic propecia for a little more than 1 month.

So try some things that you see many get results with.

That is all I can really say.

Joe.

minoxidil is your best bet. you should try all proven treatment first before going into other possible treatment. i just started minoxidil last month due to similar respone as you for propecia.

if not, you can try option like spironolactone, azelaic acid, zix, foillgen etc. these might help.

YEa i was thinking about spironolactone. But I cant remember seeing any good studies done with it. Does anyone have any links? or anyone currently using spironolactone who think it has helped?

Youve got the DHT problem sorted with Propecia and Nizoral, now I think you just need a growth stimulant to get things moving. This should ideally be in the form of Minoxidil, but if you would rather steer away from this, you could try a Copper peptide treatment in the form of Tricomin or AC Revitalise.

I know propecia is supposed to be taking care of the DHT problem...but on that alone its just not enough.

Does that mean that I might have better luck if I go with something topical to combat DHT? (spironolactone) I was just thinking if propecia alone isnt atleast stoppping my hair from thinning maybe I need to include something else to help with the DHT??

Didnt you read my past post? You dont need to block anymore DHT. You need to stimulate hair growth.
