It's been 14 days now since I started taking finasteride (1.25 mg a day). My balls were a bit more sensitive for some time, but it's okay now. I feel like my sex drive is a bit lower, but I don't really mind that, since I'm not experiencing ED (yet?).
What worries me the most is that my temples and crown area started itching. It's nothing terrible, I lightly scratch it and it's gone. Sometimes it comes back after a few mins, sometimes it doesn't return for hours, but I noticed that it's always the same places that itch.
Is that normal? Does it indicate that I'm starting to shed? Can I expect the hair I'll lose this way to regrow if finasteride works on me?
Be honest, but not mean, please. It's been terrible since I noticed my recession. Every time I go past a mirror I check if it's getting worse, even though I know that it's not possible to tell this early. Some people told me to hop on finasteride and stop thinking about it for a year, but it's so difficult. It is depressing, really...
