Hey there
without minoxidil your really cheating yourself
Finasteride stop DHT, but you need something to increase bloodflow to your hair follice, thats where minoxidil comes in

I have read of quite a few people who did not get too far with propecia, but with minoxidil they exploded (with growth etc)

you should reconsider using minoxidil!

I've been fighting the minoxidil idea for months now. I get close to giving it a shot, then I read stories of how minoxidil made someone shed like crazy and never recovered. I can't afford to loose more hair. Not a fan of the potential fat face either.

Personally, I think those are very rare
I have had no problems with minoxidil, and if you do shed and it doesn't come back then it wasn't meant to be, period, or DHT is not the problem.

Either way, now that you have stopped DHT for a while, minoxidil would fit in perfect along with Nizoral shampoo (anti fungal) to fight anti immune responses as well

hence they are the big three (fight hair loss on three fronts)

You have nothing to lose :)

I tried Rogaine for a while, maybe about a month, and just couldn't keep up with it. I couldn't deal with going out in public with the smell, and the way it made my hair look. :( So now it's just propecia.

Accept the potential for accelerated hairloss. I prefer to keep what I have as long as possible. Just not ready to risk loosing more in a short period of time that minoxidil may or may not produce.

On the other hand, it sure would suck if I was a great responder to minoxidil and never knew.
