ok, just looked through my hair and.....it looks crap! My hair looks soo much thinner than before and im sure my hairline is receeding further back. My crown also looks thinner. At this point i just don't know what to do!

I'm not sure if my hair looks crap because of sheds as Ive been losing quite a bit recently and a lot of the hairs seem to be short in length and thin. anyone know what this means?! I've just ordered 5% min to help tackle the thinning hairline and bare temples which still have some very fine pigmented hairs on them so i hope min will help to cover these.

I know a few of you guys have a similiar problem but is there anyone who's been through this then had good results? Bare in mind i've been on finasteride for 11 months but I sometimes take a day off finasteride now and then. Maybe i should stick to the strict 1mg a day?

Please give me some feedback!!

wow, yet another post about negative results. This sh*t has been running rampant on these boards lately, I tell ya. You all are even making me think my hair is getting worse

latecomer, perhaps you should consider adding 5% spironolactone to your regimen. Have you been consistent with your applications? I'm sorry it hasn't worked out for you yet.

taking pictures... as i have found .... is probably the most important thing next to actually being on treatments..... if u havent been taking pictures i really suggest u start..... if u have or are just completely possitive that u are getting worse ....by worse i mean really a step down not just having bad a bad hairloss day.... then adding the minoxidil is ur best bet

yep, ive been taking pics but it seems like my hair generally hasnt got any better and is probably thinner than before. damn these bloody receeding temples!!

now the talk about spironolactone....has anyone benefited with its use? and how many times so u apply it in a day and as i'm going to be adding min how will i apply both spironolactone and min together? which one goes on first and how much time is needed before i can apply the other?

Maybe we should have a section with details on how to apply these topicals properly and how to apply different topicals at the sametime and what the best waiting times are between the different topicals being applied.
