10 months on finasteride and no results yet.......

Is it time to add minoxidil to the mix? I was hoping to get away with just using finasteride but it doesn't seem like I will be. Really wanted to be one of those guys that have their hair stop falling after a few months and fill in a fter a few more.

probably best to use both to get the best results. Have you not even seen a decrease in hair loss?

finasteride did nothing for my hairloss, but minoxidil does. So I dropped finasteride after 3 years of using it, and still using minoxidil for years to keep my hair. You surely can add minoxidil to see if you can get a better result.

I wouldn't say so. I can still find out at least 60 every night that are willing to come out. What about minoxidil shedding? Pretty common?

Same situation as you Shawn, been on finasteride for almost 9 months and haven't seen any good results too.

If you haven't seen much effect after 9 months, chances are you'll never see any. I'd start looking into other treatments.
