Started balding at 17 and was NW4 at 25.

By the way, this thread doesn't belong in the cutting edge section.
maybe some blog or a youtube video.

My condolences. losing as a teenager is the worst. I first noticed my hair thinning at 15 but my hair loss has been slow and I'm a difuse thinner so I've never been past norwood 1. I see we're the same age, what state is your hair in these days? have you recovered any norwoods?

Whats worse is that i used to be handsome, i was that football player who used to get all the girls back in high school, the fall was high and hard for me. Being disfigured and losing half of my face would've had the same result on my dating life. Went from all i can chose from to nothing pretty quick.
I'm on my way to NW5, now my baldness is noticeable even when i cut my hair 1mm, you can see my top area is much clearer then the sides.
didn't get anything back, i tried minoxidil but it only grew hair on my face and not the right places.

i may give a shot to dermapen/wounding, see how it goes.

How are you holding?

Lol what a bunch of nonsense. It sounds like the typical word circus snake oil saleman play, or what I used to write down on my high school essay questions when I had no idea what the right answer was. Join the word circus. Make up some long winded nonsense that sounds really cool but actually means nothing.
Or if your bald at 20 none of this crap really applies because you dont have much hair left anyways.

I was weeks away from buzzing my head like you when I made a desperate decision to start taking testosterone blockers and estrogen 6 months ago. Now my hair is growing back like crazy but so is my gyno. If i'm not warm my chest still looks normal. My dick still works fine too. I'm not sure how much longer i'm gonna do this for but for now its made me much happier getting my looks back. Like you I was handsome but without my hair the looks and attention all went to hell. I have the worst head shape for being bald and I have what people have told me are pretty boy facial features that just doesent look right without hair. I will never be able to pull of the tough masculine look while I still have a babyface its just a weird juxtaposition.

I know most people will think I'm crazy but I just dont want to be invisible to most girls for the rest of my life. Just yesterday someone refered to me as "the handsome guy". That made me feel good it's been years since ive been thought of that way. I might try dating again soon. Just to be clear I'm not recomending you do what Ive done I know its extreme i'm just letting you know how Ive been coping.

Yeah people posting pictures of the rock or bruce willis does not make anyone balding feel better to embrace it and shave it. Some people really can not pull off looking bald. Most people bald would look way better as Norwood 1 anyway even the rock or bruce willis.
Hair does make a big difference in the attention you get from girls and the effort you need to put in yourself. With amazing hair girls come to you, and without it your going to be going trying to get their attention or be ignored.
If you have lower androgen levels you will have to bust your *** to build muscle even hitting the gym. It does not come easily for some people not even worth the effort honestly. The hours at the gym per day you could have spent elsewhere.
Even being ripped id rather be ripped but have all the hair too!

Yeah I still work out a couple of times a week so I still have muscles on me. I should probably work out more but its hard to stay motivated when I know my results will be limited now.

I thought there were forum mods on this site, no? How does a post like this stay in this forum? Not only is it way off topic, it’s also insulting, as if we’re all doing something wrong and that’s why we’re bald.
