1 Year On Rogaine Foam - Shedding A Lot Now!!

Hi guys!

First time posting on this forum but I was reading many threads for over a year now.

Currently I am facing a very weird situation and I couldn't find an answer.

I am using Rogaine foam 5% twice a day for a year.

At the beginning of May I started noticing excessive shedding during the shower (around 20 hair while I am using shampoo on my hair, while I apply minoxidil 10-20 hair and when I am styling my hair 10 hair but i believe there are a lot more that I am not noticing)

When I first started using minoxidil I noticed the initial shed but not to this point. Now is going strong and I am loosing all type of hair; long,short,thin and thick. Before the shed my crown was not very visible but now it is and is making me very depressed.

I must mention that I switch to Rogaine 5% liquid during the middle of May (because I had delays with my foam order) so I got some from my local pharmacy and I am applying it daily but only at night. I am using double dosage though and finally my order arrived and I am picking it up tomorrow.

Any thoughts guys? I am freaking out here!!

Easy to awsner. If you dont use any DHT inhibitor hair will fall off.

This, start using a DHT inhibitor soon, or your hair will just keep thinning.

Actually I don't want to mess with my hormones, that's why I am avoiding DHT inhibitors.

The issue here is that it might be seasonal shedding or the change from foam to liquid?

changing from foam to liquid can ´be de initiator of shedding. But so or so without DHT inhibator you will loose your hair earlier or later
