Hi all,
I've been on finasteride for a year and Min for a year and 3 months. I also have been using Nizoral 3x a week for a year and started taking biotin 5 months ago.

I caught it early and overall feel good, some days feel like I'm maintaining and others like I'm still thinning.

Pictures with blue are from Oct/Nov 2018 and pics with grey are today. Also threw in one pic from Aug 2018 and one of how I wear my hair.

Let me know any questions or comments.

I would question whether you even had hair loss to begin with.

Hair looks great. I would drop minoxidil as you don't really have anything to regrow.

Dude what? Your hair looks the same. You’re not even close to balding. Your hair looks great and there’s zero reason for you to be using anything right now...

I’m honestly surprised you found a doctor who would prescribe you finasteride. You clearly don’t need it and you shouldn’t be on it unless you absolutely have to be.

I'm guessing he might have bought it online without a prescription from somewhere like AllDayChemist. He clearly has no hair loss whatsoever.

That’s a good point. I suspect you’re probably right.

I got an rx from pcp. Here's some more under harsh lighting. Deff would put myself at nw2.

I would still say you're a Norwood 1. Do you have a family history of hair loss?

He may have other symptoms though like his hair quality and hairs getting smaller or lesser volume ?

This is the catch 22 situation to hair loss, its good when your in your teenage years or early 20s to actually give a wonder about hair loss and more important get on something say finasteride at least to halt it and improve it but the other take is you leave it too late and by 30s,40s its all but gone in a blink of an eye.

Dad is bald, his brother is nw4, paternal grandpa had a thick nw2. Maternal grandpa was probably nw3 in his 50s and same with his brothers.

Noticed a change starting to happen in my hairline, thinning temples that grew slow. Spoke to my doctor and decided to start treatments.

Honestly it looked totally normal before but I guess if you've experienced zero side effects then there's no harm being on it.

I know some would say he's not losing and think this is a troll, but oneself would know the slightest changes and it wouldn't be too crazy to start the regiment early.

Though, coming on here with pics and all as if he's in dire straights is a little rich. Personally I wouldn't have the gaul to post this. Maybe he needed reassurance that he's not balding?

For the OP, keep up the good fight.
