i have naturally very fine hair and some high temples for my age, and im really freaking out.

I fear that I am a very slow balder!! i´ve never seen any shedding and I dont feel like loosing hair from day to day, so the Problem is that I dont know how My situation is changing, thats why i am posting it right here for some feedback!
I ve started taking finasteride in april 2011..for only 2 months, because i wasnt really sure if i am loosing any more hair ( i didnt have any sides) and i stopped it..but right now i think im gonna start it again because I want to maintain what I have..what are your opinions?? So this is actually my natural progression in the course of nearly 2 years..I hate having short hair so now im gonna grow it out again and start asap with finasteride and really forget about!
