hmmm let me see...I'm going to take a wild guess here.
1% has 1% active ingredient...and I think but don't quote me on this, the 2% has 2% active ingredient.
Now that I'm done being a wise ***.
Either one will work fine. In the USA it's easier to get the 1% since the 2% requires a prescription.

Mathematically speaking, the 2% is twice as effective as the 1%. But I really don't know.

If it makes you feel any better most of us are using 1% 3 times a week. Be sure to use a good conditioner as well otherwise it might make your hair feel a little dry and brittle.

I recently switched to 2% from the 1% after 10 months of usage. I still get a little bit of dandruff so thats why I decided to switch. I will post the results as it takes a couple weeks to see optimum results. I had to order the 2% from overseas.

Yup, the 2% is stronger dose so has double the impact. Mix them both together and you get a whopping 3% Wow, do it dude, do it!
