Is there really a difference between 1% and 2% Nizoral shampoo? And where can I find 2% in stores?

I've seen 1%, but not 2%. Is 2% not sold in retail stores? And if not, where can I find some?

2% is a prescription-only product. You can get it from a dermatologist, or probably your family doctor.

Which is better? Well, there's probably no noticeable difference on your hairloss. Both work effectively. However, I believe that studies were ONLY performed on the 2%. I use both, but there's probably no difference at all.

In the UK and most European countries, 2% is OTC and doesnt need a prescription.

IMO if you are not suffering from any serious dandruff or any excessive itch and inflammation , you might be better off with one percent as using 2% most likely won't give you addition benefit but might cause you drier hair.
