1 month with no oral treatment Avodart

Hi. I'll have to do some hormone blood test and stop Avodart for about 1 month.

Do you think it will have a big negative impact in my hair?

What could I use to mitigate that and doesn't mess with my hormones, even if it's a weak product?

IME no. When I stopped I had no immediate hairloss for a few months. My guess is because it has a long half life and/or other stuff to do with hair growth phases.

The half life of dutasteride is like 5 weeks... that's in the blood too - so in the tissues, it lasts even longer. One month off is nothing.

You should cease that crap drug anyways. Pretty much no one gets improvement from it, and in fact, most people lose ground on it.

It worked well for me for years. I only stopped because of side effects.
