Worth it?

I read about 0.2 mg daily being 50% as efficacious and 0.5 being 80% so 0.67 mg everyday must be 90% at the least (1.25 dicided by 2)

I'd stop overthinking it. Merck recommends 1mg per day, no more.

since it takes a few days for DHT levels to return to normal, you could probably get away with 1mg every other day if you're trying to lessen sides, but I wouldn't go lower than that.

Why not just take 1mg a day?

I'm sure that 1.25mg EoD will still do a decent job. I was on .5mg for nearly 4 years and still got good regrowth from it.

Mild paranoia myself. I noticed some ball ache after taking a couple 1mg pills....and it scared me. So I dropped down to .5mg and stayed there for about 4 years.

Bumped it to 1.25mg after I noticed my hairline thinning some more, and that 1.25mg actually started to fill in my crown even more, which made me happy.

Will be starting 0.5mg a day once my finasteride arrives. This is after putting it off another 2 months. Is regrowth from finasteride alone on the crown common? I just don't see myself consistently using minoxidil on a daily basis, especially since I have shaggy hair. Wish me luck. :jump:

Won't do a thing, to really help hair loss you have to eat finasteride+dutasteride+spironolactone+minoxidil every day.

what a coincidence that Jude Law is in the movie lol. Dude has good genetics, but bam one ****ing hair loss genetics just ****s it up big time. Has anyone also noticed how he used to play main character roles/handsome roles when he didn't have hair loss. Now he only plays sidekick roles. This is an example of our society's view on hair loss without even having to say a word about it.
