0.5 mg finasteride

I have read that finasteride in lower doses (than 5mg / 1mg) is almost as effective in lowering DHT.

And I also understand that most people see results from the big free around the 3-6 month mark.

Is this the same for people taking lower finasteride doses? I don't see that many people in the success page deviating from either 1mg or 1.25 mg finasteride.

Who out there is growing hair on 0.5mg?

I am using the full dose of finasteride, but it is actually common for people to microdose, since the propecia scare. I have seen guys grow hair on .25mg 3 times a week. Personally I would recommend that you are at least taking it every day especially if your hair loss is aggressive. Typically you should be able to tell if a treatment is working at the 6 month mark. I saw a difference in 3 months, but can vary from person to person.
