Took The Nuclear Option. Slowly, Slowly It Paid Off.

Exactly man. You need to consider that I started losing my hair at 16. At 22 I had already been on minoxidil and it was clear I was destined to be bald as hell. Just look at it. That was aggressive. Now 6 years later, at 28 I'm basically looking like I'm 20 when I was NWII and that's holding...

Has Anyone Ever Taken finasteride Or dutasteride While On Active Duty Military?

I'm finding it really hard to find anything posted online by people who have done this. I figured I'll ask myself: Excluding basic training (where you can't get anything not issued to you) have any of you found a steady supply? Is it possible if you are stationed overseas or deployed? I mean, I...

Question About Dutasteride And Prolonged Shedding Phase

Took me TWO YEARS on dutasteride to regrow. Stick it out.

    Constant shed - 1y duta - 2m finasteride - lost a lot of density - what should i do?

It's foolish to stop and start a treatment over shedding. It is well known that male pattern baldness treatments cause shedding before recovery. Shedding has nothing to do with male pattern baldness. However an effective treatment should involve shedding as the follicles enlarge. My hair got really bad, the worst during...

Is Anyone Else Here Going Through A Seasonal Shed?

It's happening to me right now. Been on dutasteride over two years. In the last month I lost a ton of volume all around my temples where I had been recovering

I don't think it would necessarily be so noticeable. There is a possibility that small amounts of anti-androgens in my system could change my body very gradually without me noticing. Maybe going off it will increase my sex drive that I had no idea was even affected. Maybe it will increase my...

Is Shedding 1 Year After Recovery Normal?

I recovered from a NWIII to NWII with dutasteride, minoxidil, and RU a little more than a year ago now. Some months over the past year it would seem as though the area that recovered (my temple area) would thin out slightly. Then it would thicken up again. I was busy over the past year and the...

Took The Nuclear Option. Slowly, Slowly It Paid Off.

I stopped rolling a few weeks ago because I'm concerned about systematic absorption. However, when I did roll I rolled all over the temples, any area that lacked thick hair. I also rolled a bit on the sides of my head in front of the ear as I believe I lost hair there too. The rolling was done...

That might work better. Does RU dissolve well in rogaine?

Took The Nuclear Option. Slowly, Slowly It Paid Off.

It literally took over a year on dutasteride before my hair looked better. Almost two years. It was really really bad for an entire year (2015). Then it started filling in. I still get sporadic shedding phases. They last about a month. Then it comes back thicker.

I'll definitely pay attention to side effects. What should I be looking for? Don't have any gyno. Libido seems okay.

Took The Nuclear Option. Slowly, Slowly It Paid Off.

For me it took over a year. And it got worse before it got better. My reasoning for sticking with it was this: What other option do I have? There is no other treatment that is as sound as a 5ar reductase inhibitor. There is no reason for me to stop except my dick falling off. Even if it doesn't...

Took The Nuclear Option. Slowly, Slowly It Paid Off.

I was doing several different routines but this is what I ultimately settled on: Morning I wake up: apply rogaine foam or liquid and lightly rub it in all over the temple area and sides. Evening: Lightly roll until the skin is a little red. Then apply 1 ml of RU58841 5% solution to each...

Yea I roll everyday before I apply RU. I go light so that my skin isn't irritated that badly. No wounding. Just absorption. Rubbing Alcohol probably isn't best but I used it since I was feeling kind of cheap. It didn't cause me any problems.
