I made the same mistake though I can't really tell if it made it worse or not because my hair strands were always so thin w/ low density. I'm one month back in it but that is too early for me to see a difference. I would get back on it.

I don't remember testicular pain being mentioned as one of the negative side effects, damn. I haven't started it yet, but I'd probably stop if the pain persisted. It occurred 8 months in.. could it have been an outside factor? I guess it truly is a roll of the dice.

I mean you should probably see your PCP/Derm and get a prescription for it. Your insurance might cover it.
