if I can make it stop falling...

You aren't going to have much luck without Propecia or Avodart (heavy guns). Minoxidil might help somewhat too; it often gets worse, before it gets better (shed and thicker regrowth).

36 Years Old and Need My Hair Evaluated

Yeah, I'll probably lose a lot more, judging from my dad and grandfather. That's why I want to add dutasteride. I'm hoping for some regrowth too. I know a lot of you have it much worse, but my hair loss has been bothering me since I was 19.

36 Years Old and Need My Hair Evaluated

Where am I at on the Norwood scale? I've been gradually losing my hair since I was 19. I've been on and off Propecia for over 10 years and I'm currently on 1.25mg of finasteride/day with no sides. I'm probably going to add 0.5mg of dutasteride/week, since I have noticed no improvement on just...

Anyone Have Luck with Dutasteride 0.5 MG Once a Week?

I know, but I will only be taking Dustasteride once a week.

Anyone Have Luck with Dutasteride 0.5 MG Once a Week?

I think I'll give it a try at 0.5mg/week and keep taking Finasteride daily. Thanks

24 Year Old Wondering If It Is Time To Start Propecia

If it bothers you. My hair is similar at age 36 (though my receding hairline bothers me most and I haven't seen yours) and I've been on and off Propecia for years. I'm not sure if it helped or not, but my hair loss seemed to get worse when I was off it. I haven't noticed anything, either way...

Anyone Have Luck with Dutasteride 0.5 MG Once a Week?

I'm 36 and I have been taking Finasteride, on and off, for over a decade. I haven't had any sides, except for initial ball ache. My hair loss has been very gradual and it's not as nearly as bad as what a lot of you have experienced. I'm only at about a Norwood 2.5 and have lots of very fine...

    Inhouse finpecia legitimacy

I've been on Fincar from Inhouse Pharmacy for 1.5 years. My hair loss isn't terribly bad and I haven't noticed any improvement, but I haven't noticed anymore hair loss either. My balls ached when I first started on Fincar, so I think it's legit. I'm not sure about Finpecia from Inhouse...

    Ashking's Story - (22/Got New Receding Hairline-What To Do?)

More like on and off for 13 years! I tried Propecia and Rogaine 10 years ago along with a lot of other crap that was not FDA approved for hair loss. I'm still a Norwood 2 and my vertex has only recently developed barely visible thinning spots and a "little" thinning in front. It's been...

    TC's Story - 15 month update 01/03/2011 bottom of page 1

Re: Grandpa (Mums side) completely bald by 25, and I'm now 22 It's not that bad. You might not have your grandpa's genes for baldness. It may not get that bad. Get on minoxidil and try it and see if it stops the hair loss. Probably won't re-grow any hair in that area though. If it gets...

    Ashking's Story - (22/Got New Receding Hairline-What To Do?)

I said it's a good idea to wait on finasteride. Rogaine is a hair loss treatment too. It stops hair loss and regrows hair without messing with your hormones. I advised him to try that first. I wonder if some people are just on here to promote sales of Propecia/finasteride. There are 2 drugs that are...

    DarkVctry's Story

I agree and would say that your hair loss looks bad enough where you should probably use both. I find it hard to believe that the hair loss is not visible with the naked eye. At a minimum, I would get on minoxidil now, but I would recommend using both. You will likely lose more hair and will...

    Mickeyss191's Story - ( 19 / where to go from here? Pic!!)

You will likely see more shedding, but it'll stop and will likely grow back with more hair. I'd apply the foam to all of your thinning areas. You might want to get the cheap Kirkland or other generic minoxidil liquid and use it at night to target more areas. It'll help save money. You want...

    Mickeyss191's Story - ( 19 / where to go from here? Pic!!)

Well nothing much with the liquid form, but the liquid tends to irritate the scalp more than the foam. It's also greasy and drips all over and is hard to target areas, without it dripping down your head. The liquid is better for long hair though, since it drips down to your scalp. The foam is...
