How often do you take your hair system off?

Awesome, maybe not an exposed hairline then? I don't have a big thing for needing to expose my hairline so that's good, although glued lace front does seem to look good. I don't have a private pool to experiment in so sounds great if the tapes hold up for a swim lol, or maybe even beaching at...

How often do you take your hair system off?

Nice, do you guys glue the lace front? It seems like that's the only part that might be some hassle at least when it comes to cleaning. Also saying this as someone who's learned about hair systems for a year or so but haven't started wearing yet. Sounds pretty nice to take a hair system on and...

How often do you take your hair system off?

Just curious how often you guys take yours off, I don't wear yet but I feel like after 3 days or so I would really wanna wash my scalp.

good hairstyle, direction or hair to hide the hairline

Looking through his IG he has some good styles most of the time, now and then you can really tell it's a wig. I also try to put myself in the mindset of somebody who might not know hair systems even exist outside of the old style toupees

How well do wavy hair systems hold their waves? Also volume/bounce?

Helpful stuff thanks, now I know I'll most likely wanna find out that they're using alkaline.. The curling iron case sounds pretty terrible

Is scalp exfoliating scrub needed or will a scalp exfoliating brush do?

For me having dandruff problems scalp scrub is the best thing I've found, it definitely will clean it well. Although with no hair in the way it is easier to clean in general

How well do wavy hair systems hold their waves? Also volume/bounce?

I believe most wavy hair systems are made that way through a process so I was wondering how well that form stays. I'm thinking it might just depend on the manufacturer and hair type or the way it's styled but I'm not sure. I have seen some hair systems that look flat that at least to someone...

Oh I misread a bit, I had my mind on the glues.

SAFE AND HARMFUL CHEMICAL FREE TAPE FOR HAIR SYSTEMS

True, just the fact it uses something like plastics and says minimal parabens is already a negative.

SAFE AND HARMFUL CHEMICAL FREE TAPE FOR HAIR SYSTEMS

Seems so, they say some good things like "our formula contains no nasty chemicals, no latex and no toxic ingredients." although I can't find their ingredients listed anywhere. In the past I was thinking tape was the way to go but now I don't feel that way, compared to tapes ghostbond is...

SAFE AND HARMFUL CHEMICAL FREE TAPE FOR HAIR SYSTEMS

Reading about this stuff although I knew it in the back of my mind is depressing, maybe I can stick on a hair system with some gum? lol. Have looked on the net for a natural based alternative glue manufacturer even for a non-exposed system like mono with bangs but haven't found anything yet

SAFE AND HARMFUL CHEMICAL FREE TAPE FOR HAIR SYSTEMS

It would be nice if this type of stuff had a bigger market, somebody would probably make some all natural adhesive. I've got long hair so I'm actually considering clips now since I'm not ready to shave my head even for a hair system but I would like to look like I've got hair when the time is...

Status of hair systems now in 2022?

It's been a while since I've checked in, still haven't gone the hair system route even though I have one I ordered in the past. How has the speed and reliability + hopefully price of hair systems improved?

Can someone explain Density % to me?

Wow that's thick, looked up this system and it's a medium hair density, full poly border. No wonder all the lace systems tend to be medium light, hard to see hair that thick making a nice lace front hairline. Though I do want some thickness to wear the hair a bit blown out
