I have seen posts before about swelling, breathing problems and such but don't really have an answer for any solution other than that finasteride tablets have lactose. Not alot of people know about it, which is something you can always test yourself for so that you at least get closer to the cause.

That was why I asked about lactose, because propecia contains that and so might the generic alternatives too.

Any other pharmaceuticals that are metabolized through CYP3A4 would probably be affected. As for reducing the effectiveness by taking a smaller dose, yes of course but if you've seen any of the graphs made on finasteride plasma DHT reduction you know that the drug has a very flat response...

Amazing, thanks for the great reply and explanation. Yes ideally I was thinking of adding propylene glycol, forgot to mention that but you made it very clear with the numbers. I'm not using minoxidil and won't mix RU with it as I want to see what results I can achieve with RU alone.

I haven't and rather not because I would like to try RU alone, aswell as minoxidil needs to be applied twice a day. I'm not currently using minoxidil so I want to know what's responsible for any of the results that I might get. Would vodka 60 suffice?

It's nearly impossible for me to acquire alcohol of that high % such as everclear. Is it possible to use unflavoured Vodka 40 or 60% instead? Or would it be better to just get the KB solution? I see that you've used RU for some time. What side effects did you experience, anything libido wise? Has the chest pains resolved? What was your RU dose and where did you order it from (PM please, I think it breaks forum rules) ?
