So, I its been a very long time since I posted in this forum. Long story short, I come from a family where my dad and 2 brothers lost all their hair in their early 20's. I started seeing some receding in my hairline by the time I was 18 but decided to play the denial card for many years. I was...
I've been using it for about three years now. Twice a day religiously. I originally had some minor crown and temple loss. After the first six months I recovered quite a bit of density and coverage with only just minoxidil (5% generic). I also used nizoral 1% (over the counter) every other day. About...
Well the longest ive been was probably 4 days without applying it simply because I ran out. But other than that Ive been very consistent with my regimen. Another thing i noticed is hat he quality and texture of the hair was very coarse. I used to have very thick slightly wavy hair but lately ive...
Well I started using minoxidil 5% exactly 2 years and 5 months today. Im a diffuse thinner but I caught it very early, no visible thinning but a definite loss in density and a little bit of scalp. I definitely saw some great results within the first 8 months. My temples and crown regained their...
Has anyone tried Walgreen's 5% Minoxidil?? Is it any good, I know minoxidil is minoxidil no matter what but I want to know how it feels. Im asking because Walgreen"s has a sale of 24.99 for the 3 month supply. Im asking because I used the Equate brand and I hated it because it was extremely oily and...
Ok so I just got out of my denial phase and Ive accepted that im going bald. Now i want to switch treatment and was considering generic proscar(fincar) to see how things go at first. So among the online pharmacies Ive heard of Im trying to decide between united pharmacies of inhouse pharmacy...
Ive been on nizoral 2% for a couple of years now. Bad case of dandruff so my Dermatologist recommended it and Ive been using it ever since.
My lifestyle is pretty hectic with college, work, paying bills, etc. Im forced to eat a lot of fast food and I dont get the recommended amount of sleep...
Ok so after carefully examining my hair for the past 3 months Ive come to the crushing conclusion that Im thinning in the NW4-5 area. Its diffuse and in relatively early stages. I can still wear my hair in many ways without it being that noticeable. Still its leaning more to the noticeable side...
No Im not actually taking this but since it has some of the most talked about so called natural treatments I was wondering if anyone think it would work. I have seen people talk about saw palmetto, nettle and pygeum so seeing them all in one formulation made think it could help in some way.
Ok so I was at walgreens and came across its little supplement. Its called The Prostate Formula by Real Health LAbs and it has almost all of the natural androgen blockers rumored to help against the battle with hair loss. The supplement facts are:

Hmm... interesting I started Nizoral a about 2 months ago. Im used to walking pretty long distances, due to the fact that Im in college and I spend about 4-5 hours of my day walking around campus. Ever since this semester started Ive noticed that when I walk for a while I start breathing heavily...
Ok just to give an update on my situation. Its been around 2 1/2 weeks since I started topically applying cayenne pepper mixed with apple cider vinegar. My results so far: nothing in terms of regrowth although I think its way too fast to see any effects. I do consider that my hair is growing at...
Well I have to agree it is a lottery. From my mothers side none of the males have gone bald. My maternal grandfather and all of his brothers have insanely thick straight Elvis hair and they are all above 75 yrs old. My dad has 7 brothers and only 2 of them have the horseshoe patter (my dad...
thanks for replying danoush. What minoxidil were you using? Anyway will propecia help me thicken up a bit? I really still have a pretty good head of hair but its kinda thin on the vertex and my temples are slightly thin too. I have a thick little island of hair in the front. My pattern is only...
Well for me what keeps the dandruff and itching at bay is a wash with apple cider vinegar twice a week. Just leave it overnight and wash it the next morning. It works for me so it might work for you so its worth a shot.
