    Thinning :(

Yeah, you're going bald. If it was stress, it would be a thinning equally all over, not just the crown

Not only am I growing new hair, BUT MY SHEDDING HAS STOPPED!

Update: I now take a shower every 2 days, and I lose maybe 10 hairs each shower session. My hair is now getting thicker and its amazing how fast my Telogen Effluvium reversed itself

Not only am I growing new hair, BUT MY SHEDDING HAS STOPPED!

I really wish they would have stepped foward and told their stories, because former lurkers such as myself would have felt better at ease knowing that someone has gone through the same thing and recovered

Not only am I growing new hair, BUT MY SHEDDING HAS STOPPED!

so i take it from the lack of responses, that no one here has ever experienced this or knew someone else whose Telogen Effluvium has aburptly reversed? Or maybe my post was just too darn long to read :D again, I sure am surprised at the total lack of "success stories" on hairloss forums regarding Telogen Effluvium, so I...

Not only am I growing new hair, BUT MY SHEDDING HAS STOPPED!

Hello folks. My name is Sam, I am a 27 year old grad student and I have just experienced a bout of what they call "telogen effluvium", and I am utterly puzzled as to why so few men with no past history of hair loss/male pattern baldness and a bout of Telogen Effluvium have not posted their own "success...

A rather simple question regarding telogen hair shed

Forgive my ignorance, but I believe that the hair goes into a "resting phase" first, and then it is shed. Not the other way around, as you imply. So I presume you're talking about the hair follicle itself that goes into a resting phase?!? I'm confused.

A rather simple question regarding telogen hair shed

oh Oh, okay. You mean 3 months until you can visibly see a new hair poking out? I'm not talking about the period of time it takes for it to mature into a normal-sized, thick hair, I'm only talking about the time period before you actually see a baby hair poking out from the pore

A rather simple question regarding telogen hair shed

Hello, folks. I have a rather simple question that I could not find anywhere else on the Web or reading through these forums, and was wondering if any "experts" out there knew the answer My question is this: once a telogen hair is shed from the scalp, how long does it take to visibly see a...
