I have been doing combination Rogaine and Propecia for about 12-18 months now and I am very happy with the results. I started early and I would say that my hair is just about the right thickness currently.
Unfortunately, I am going into the desert for a week and while I will be able to continue...
I am applying Rogaine across the entire top of my head. I've found that 1ml really isn't a lot because some solution gets soaked up by my hair and other solution rolls off.
Trying it for the past week (I'm new to it) I have been steadily increasing it to where I was using almost 4ml a setting...

I used Rogaine...
Ok, well I got Nizoral (1%) over the counter and I have been using that for about 3 weeks now. Should I try to get a prescription from my doctor for 2%?
I have also tried Rogaine again, this time as a foam, for about 2 weeks. I have been using it once/day right after I get out of the shower...

I have been on Propecia for about 6 months and 1 week - I went on as soon as a friend of mine pointed out that I had very slight hair loss (at the time), and I decided I wanted to stop it before it got bad. Both of my uncles on my mom's side are so bald that you can probably see your reflection...
