Update on this: We had a baby girl end of last year. No problems. I was worried too prior to conception. It seems that the main risk is really that you would have low sperm count rather than it affecting the baby in any way. According to Bernstein medical there's no risk to the baby.

From my experience the tablet doesn't cause too much in the way of side effects so there's not a lot to lose. If you leave your hair for a few years and it gets worse you may regret not doing something sooner. I do.

I know where you're coming from but that's actually 75 a month. Almost a grand a year. You can get generic for about a tenth the price.
