Five years! Such a long time, especially if you don't respond to propecia! Seriously though, whats the point if you've already gone bald (which in five years I will have). Everybody knows that you haven't got real hair. Its tantamount to an expensive wig.

I'm just using propecia. Can't really afford minoxidil as well. I use head and shoulders menthol shampoo, as that really keeps my scalp clear (i've had terrible scalp psoriasis is the past). I have also been using a hair dryer for the past few months. Could this maybe affect things?

Is it possible to use a combination of minoxidil and finasteride to hopefully get some regrowth and then just revert to finasteride to maintain once you've got some back?
