I usually buzz it down to 4mm and it already looks really good. It makes the transition between transplanted and native hair less apparent.
You think there may be some shock loss? I haven't really noticed but I suppose it's possible. I'm totally puzzled by the supposed 4K.
Thanks! The lighting surely plays a role. I do believe that 1000 grafts should still be doable though. Especially, if a certain percentage of those were bread grafts. The idea is that I'd only need to apply any future topicals, be it topical finas or something novel, on a much smaller area this...
Hi guys,
it's been 6 months since my hair transplant at HLC in turkey and I thought I'd share my results so far. At the same time I'd like to ask for your opinion wit regard to how much more you think my donor can take.
I had 3502 grafts extracted for the frontal third of my scalp at a density of 50 per...
I have to disagree with this estimation. I'd say 2000 should suffice unless you want a super straight hairline. Also you hair caliber looks decent (thick and dark).
The only thing that I somewhat understand here https://www.samumed.com/medium/image/american-academy-of-dermatology-aad-washington-dc_19/view.aspx is WNT ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If your hair really hasn't changed in the last 10 years then I'd say go for it. You also wouldn't need that many grafts as it's just the temples you need to fill in.
I personally don't think you need it but of course I understand your desire for a better hairline. I had a hair transplant myself.
The beard grafts are only taken from the neck. Never from the face. However, I'd also like to hear more from people who've had it done. I'm a bit worried about the neck scars.
Mate, I know you’ve heard it a thousand times but hair is really not worth your life. It would do you some good to get a perspective on things. Let’s be honest, the reason why we care is women for the most part. While baldness may disqualify you from the shallow world of online dating it does...
The percentage of men losing their hair is said to go like this: 20% experience it in their twenties, 30% in their thirties and so on...That means about 50% have some degree of hair loss by the time they reach 50. I'd argue it's a bit more...or at least the number that have a very mature...
Speaking of struggles, I'd also like to share something. I was using minoxidil for about 5 years. At first it worked like magic and made my hair super thick. I gained about 2NWs. Two years into it my situation fell back to the baseline. Recently, I decided to have a hair transplant and had to put minoxidil on pause...
yeah sorry for going slightly off-topic. Back on topic: I also agree with OP's pause analogy. It's the only thing that makes sense. The only thing I could imagine would be you body's hormones going wild for a while after quitting trying to readjust which could cause additional hairloss but the...
I experience minoxidil heart palpitations and chest pain myself a couple of times. The first time was way back when I knew nothing about hair loss and the medication. I just smeared tons of it all over my head just thinking "couldn't hurt. the more the better". No surprise, I got massive anxiety and...
