from de beginning of hair loss untill now!! pics

You did a poor research. Minoxidil is one of the really effective treatments out there. Propecia will slow your hairloss, but minoxidil can grow more. Granted, you'll have to use it as long as you want to keep the grown hair.

    Sorry boys, I tried.

Quitting rogaine after shedding is unreasonable because this hair would fall out ANYWAY within the next few months since sheding affects only telogen hair. Besides, active shedding is a sign of good response to minoxidil as was said before.

    Should I add foam?

blackhole, you're late for finasteride or minoxidil. only to try to maintain what's left already. you should transplant. I wonder why you started your tratment soo late, since you're saying you've been balding since 18.

quitting rogaine while shedding. Is it a no no?

Why not use the foam? It's much softer on the skin and works better than liquid.

    Too much minoxidil...??

2ml is said to be the maximum amount the skin can absorb, so theoretically even if you used a can per day you wouldn't grow more hair, but you might encounter some dermatological problems, like red skin, itching, etc. but some ppl on this forum posted that they had more success with higher...

Stopped rogaine while dread shed and still shedding

You misinterpreted my answer. There is nothing calming in such huge shed with rogaine. It just revealed the problem that was already there. Stopping rogaine won't solve that problem, though the shedding might lessen. You need to see the doctor. Hair don't fall out for no reason.

Stopped rogaine while dread shed and still shedding

Minoxidil shedding is only affecting telogen hair, that is hair destined to fall out anyway in the next 3 months. minoxidil only fastens the process by stimulating hair growth. You should'nt have stopped using it anyway. But you need to find out the initial cause of hairloss as Artista said.

    Shedding again after 7 month

It is a known fact that once in a while hair grown on minoxidil (or finasteride) fall out, but they all come back in 3-4 months. This is normal. These "shedding schedules" are individual and tend to become more rare with time. No doctor can tell why this happens. But as Jojje wrote you need to add...

    Rogaine Foam

everytime i read "liquid is better", or "foam is sh*t" I feel like an idiot because i still cannot see how minoxidil is different from minoxidil.. until i get an answer to that, i'll think that this whole discussion is pointless..

    Liquid better?

I wonder how liquid and foam can have different effects if it's the SAME MINOXIDIL?? And why liquid would be better or otherwise? It's just the difference in how you apply it and how your skin reacts to other ingredients, isn't that it?

    Any Fluridil users left?

i've been using eucapil for a little over 4 months, but then started minoxidil+finasteride and i read somewhere that with this regimen eucapil is redundant. I still have a month's supply left, so i'm considering if i'm going to order some more. Chances are i'll quit. But fluridil is still a nice...

What does WORKS ON YOU mean?

It takes 3 months for an empty follicle to "awake" and produce new hairs and it takes up to year or more for them to turn into terminal hair as i understand it, plz correct me if i'm wrong

How do you apply the foam?

why don't they figure out some kind of smart nozzle like they do with liquid so it would let out just the right amount of foam. i actually come to think it's a marketing move so that people would spend more of it.

Do masturbate or having sexual contact increase hair loss?

For all i know Buddhist monks are all bald (see Dalai Lama, for instance), and i don't think they all masturbate. What's the purpose of being a monk? They just don't think of it and don't do it. But their baldness could also do smth with their nutrition. Buddhists are vegetarians, and hairs need...

    Not responding?

I'm sure I got this figure somewhre on the forums, may be i am confusing, but imagine if 8 out of 10 ppl stopped losing hair on finasteride, would there be so many posters on this forum? honestly, i don't know for myself, i'm not a doctor, but again, i sure do hope 80% is correct
